Description
1. Vistamin 250mg Tablet contains Penicillamine 250mg as a tablet, marketed by Wilsons Pharmaceuticals. Category: Antidote / Poisoning Treatment.
2. Penicillamine is a metabolite of penicillin, is an analogue of the amino acid cysteine.
3. Used for: All forms of epilepsy, Cystinuria, Deficiency of growth hormone in children, Hormone replacement for menopausal symptoms, Juvenile chronic arthritis, Lead poisoning, Myoclonus, Nausea and vomiting (due to migraine).
4. Precautions: Penicillamine should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy.
