Description
1. Secnidal Forte 1g Tablet contains Secnidazole 1g as a tablet, marketed by Sanofi Aventis (Pakistan) Ltd.. Category: Antiamoebic / Antiprotozoal.
2. Secnidazole is antiprotozoal, and a derivative of 5-nitromidazole closely related to metronidazole.
3. Used for: Amoebiasis, Giardiasis, Trichomoniasis, Urethritis, Vaginitis.
4. Precautions: Alcoholic drinks and alcohol containig medicines should be avoided during secnidazole treatment.
5. Storage: store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Pack: 1g. Use only as directed; check expiry and DRAP registration on the pack.
