Description
1. Piroxibin 20mg Tablet contains Piroxicam-beta-cyclodextrin 20mg as a tablet, marketed by Winbrain Research Laboratories. Category: NSAID Pain Killer (Analgesic / Anti-inflammatory).
2. Piroxicam-beta-cyclodextrin is a complex of the nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) piroxicam and an inert cyclic macromolecule, beta-cyclodextrin.
3. Used for: Acute gout, Acute musculoskeletal disorders, Acute pain, Ankylosing spondylitis, Backache, Dysmenorrhoea, Juvenile chronic arthritis, Migraine, Osteoarthritis, Post operative pain, Rheumatic diseases.
4. Precautions: Piroxicam should be used with caution in patients with intrinsic coagulation defects and those on anticoagulant therapy.
