Description
1. Pepzym Tablet contains Pancreatin + Bromelains + Simethicone + Metoclopramide HCl as a tablet, marketed by Shaigan Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd.. Category: Digestive / Vitamin Supplement.
2. Pancreatin is a digestive enzyme. Bromelains is a mixture of proteolytic enzymes i.e., any of the several cysteine endopeptidases that catalyzes the cleavage of proteins on the carboxyl side of alanine, glycine, lysine and tyrosine bonds.
3. Used for: Pancreatic insufficiency; Digestive problems, Edema, Oedema, Soft tissue inflammation, Trauma.
4. Precautions: If sign of hypersensitivity reaction occurs, discontinue the use of pancreatin. Bromelain should be given with caution in patients with coagulation disorder or severly impaired kidney or liver function.
