1. Normitab 50mg Tablet contains Atenolol 50mg as a tablet, marketed by Nabiqasim Industries (Pvt) Ltd.. Category: Antihypertensive (Beta Blocker).
2. Atenolol is a competitive,ß-1 selective adrenergic antagonist, similar to metoprolol.
3. Used for: Angina, Angina pectoris, Cardiac arrhythmia, Early intervention within 12 hrs of myocardial infarction, Hypertension, Myocardial infarction, To prevent recurrence of neural tube defect.
