Description

1. Malarest Tablet contains Pyrimethamine + Sulfadoxine as a tablet, marketed by Pharmedic (Pvt) Ltd.. Category: Antimalarial.
2. Pyrimethamine is oral antimalarial agent. Sulfadoxine is antibecterial, belongs to sulphonamide.
3. Used for: Malaria, Malaria prophylaxis, Malaria treatment, Protozoa infection, Toxoplasmosis; Malaria prophylaxis, Severe falciparum malaria, Toxoplasmosis.
4. Precautions: Pyrimethamine should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or lactation. Sulfadoxine should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy.
