1. Mabil Injection 500mcg contains Mecobalamin 500mcg/ml as a injectable, marketed by Sami Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd.. Category: Vitamin / Mineral / Nutritional Supplement.
2. Mecobalamin is a vitamin B-12 co-enzyme that occurs in blood and cerebrospinal fluid.
3. Used for: Congenital cobalamine malabsorption, Congenital intrinsic factor deficiency, Homocystenemia, Methylmalonylacidurias, Peripheral neuropathy, Pernicious anaemia, Post gastrectomy vit B-12 deficiency, Transcobalamin II deficiency.
4. Precautions: Mecobolamine should be used with caution in patients with any pre-existing illnesses or any allergies.This medication should be used only as directed during pregnancy or lactation.
