Description

1. Glucomet Plus Tablet contains Metformin HCl + Glibenclamide as a tablet, marketed by Pharmatec Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd.. Category: Antidiabetic (Oral).
2. Metformin (HCl) is oral biguanide antidiabetic agent, introduced in 1950s. Glibenclamide is a oral hypoglycemic agent.
3. Used for: Diabetes mellitus, Hyperlipoproteinaemia, Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus, Insulin resistance, Non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus, Obesity; Non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus, Softening and dilatation of cervix before mechanical cervical dilatation.
4. Precautions: Metformin should be used with caution in patients with pre-existing liver disease, kidney disease, heart trouble or if have any allergy, infections.
