Description

1. Coversam 4/5mg Tablet contains Perindopril 4mg + Amlodipine Besylate 5mg as a tablet, marketed by Servier Research & Pharmaceuticals Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd.. Category: Antihypertensive (ACE Inhibitor / Combination).
2. Perindopril is angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor used in the treatment of hypertension, congestive heart failure, and various renal syndromes such as diabetic nephropathy and scleroderma. Amlodipine (Besylate) is a calcium channel blocker.
3. Used for: Congestive heart failure, Heart failure, Heart failure (adjunct), Hypertension, Myocardial infarction; Angina pectoris, Essential hypertension, Hypertension, Prophylaxis of angina, Vasospastic angina.
4. Precautions: Regular renal function tests advised during prolonged treatment with Perindopril Erbumine. Amlodipine should be used with caution in patients with heart, liver disease or if have any allergy.
