Description
1. Coldrex Tablet contains Dextromethorphan + Pseudoephedrine HCl + Paracetamol as a tablet, marketed by Standpharm Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd.. Category: Cold & Flu Remedy.
2. Dextromethorphan (HBr) is antitussive agent. Pseudoephedrine (HCl) is a sympathomimetic agent, closely related to ephedrine.
3. Used for: Dry cough; Bronchospasm, Nasal congestion, Rhinitis, Upper respiratory tract infections.

Precautions: Dextromethorphan should be used with caution in patients with any pre-existing kidney disease, heart disease, lungs disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, hyperthyroidism, diabetes,… Although pseudoephedrine has no significant pressure effect in normotensive patients, It should be used with caution in the patient with hypertension, patients using tricyclic antidepressants,…
