2. Clomiphene is a synthetic gonad stimulating principle structurally related to the proestrogen chlorotrianisene, consisting of a mixture of trans and cis isomers.
3. Used for: Anovulatory infertility, Polycystic ovary syndrome.
4. Precautions: Clomiphene should not be used if patient have the following medical problems: liver disease, depression, ovarian cyst or blood clots.
