1. Calan 80mg Tablet contains Verapamil HCl 80mg as a tablet, marketed by Searle Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd.. Category: Antihypertensive (Calcium Channel Blocker / ARB).
2. Verapamil is an oral and parenteral calcium-channel blocking (CCB) agent.
3. Used for: Angina, Cardiac arrhythmia, Hypertension, Ischaemic heart disease, Paroxysmal tachyarrhythmias, Supraventricular arrhythmias, Supraventricular tachycardia.
4. Precautions: Verapamil should be used with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment.
