Description

1. Avsar Plus 160/10/25mg Tablet contains Amlodipine Besylate 10mg + Valsartan 160mg as a tablet, marketed by Pharmevo (Pvt) Ltd.. Category: Antihypertensive (Calcium Channel Blocker / ARB).
2. Amlodipine (Besylate) is a calcium channel blocker. Valsartan belongs to a new and rapidly growing group of drugs known as angiotensin receptor antagonists.
3. Used for: Angina pectoris, Essential hypertension, Hypertension, Prophylaxis of angina, Vasospastic angina; Chronic congestive heart failure, Hypertension, Myocardial infarction.
4. Precautions: Amlodipine should be used with caution in patients with heart, liver disease or if have any allergy. Valsartan should be used with caution in patients with any pre-existing kidney or liver disease, congestive heart failure, diabetes or any allergy, especially drug allergy.
