Description
1. Arceva 40/240mg Tablet contains Lumefantrine 240mg + Artemether 40mg as a tablet, marketed by Sami Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd.. Category: Antimalarial.
2. Lumefantrine used in the treatment of malaria. Artemether is a derivative of artemisinin (herb found in china).
3. Used for: Malaria caused by plasmodium falciparum; Chloroquine resistant malaria, Complicated and severe malaria, Uncomplicated malaria.
4. Precautions: Should be use with caution in severely decreased kidney function, Severely decreased liver function, Heart disease. Care should be taken when using to treat the women being pregnant with in three months or patients with severe vomiting.
