Description

1. Adoxa 100mg Tablet contains Doxycycline 100mg as a tablet, marketed by Pharma Health Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd.. Category: Antibiotic (Tetracycline).
2. Doxycycline is a semi-synthetic, broad spectrum tetracycline antibiotic derived from methacycline.
3. Used for: Acne vulgaris, Anthrax, Breast cancer, Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, Genitourinary tract infections, GI infections, Heart failure, Malaria prophylaxis, Opthalmic infections, Plasmodium falciparum malaria, Pneumonia.
4. Precautions: Doxycycline should be used with caution (if contains tartrazine) in patients with aspirin hypersensitivity, because it may cause allergic reactions (including bronchial asthma).
