Description

2. Calcium Chloride is a salt of calcium (mineral). Potassium Chloride is used to treat or prevent hypokaleamia or potassium depletion.
3. Used for: Hyperphosphataemia, Peritoneal dialysis; Electrolyte disorder, Hypokalaemia.
4. Precautions: Solution of calcium chloride is irritant and caution should be taken to prevent extravasation during intravenous administration. Administer potassium products with caution to hypokalemic hypertensive patients, because it will lower the blood pressure.
